  • CU03 CATERING ACTIVITIES COORDINATION

TASK: CREATE MENU; INTERPRET MENU, CATERING ACTIVITIES, COASTING MENU, QUALITY CONTROL. (ADD ON: CREATE EVENT, CHECKLIST, MENU, TIME MANAGEMENT) (304 hrs)

  • CU04 – SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTION

TASK: MANAGING SECTION/STAFF, COORDINATE SECTION BUDGET, RECORD SECTIONAL DOCUMENTS, SUPERVISOR PROCUREMENT RECORD (ADD ON: HR MANAGEMENT, EVENT MANAGEMENT, STAFF SCHEDULE) (248 hrs)

Due to rapid development of Tourism Industry Worldwide, job opportunities in the Culinary & Hospitality sector are abundance. With the skills acquired and exposures absorbed during internship, trainees higher their employment potentials. The scopes of work that can be pursued by graduates in this field are:

  • Hotel Industry – Executive Chefs / Sous-Chefs / Chef de Partie / Demi Chef / Cooks / Commis.

In addition, graduates of this course will also have an opportunity to further their studies at higher levels of Diploma and Advanced Diploma (Malaysia Skills Diploma – DKM). Having higher qualification with the rightful skills enables them to work at supervisory and management levels, as well as to pursue qualification up to doctorate level elsewhere.
